Terraces without problems.
The modular panels are placed on special polypropylene
supports. The slight room among the panels allow to absorb the moving
of the slab so that the water can flow away through the waterproof
layer into the drainage system. Moreover, the air chambers between
the underside of the panels and the slab can perfectly proof, keeping
the rooms under the slab warm in winter and cool in summer. Thanks
to Grintec® Raised Floor System the tiles do not break anymore
(whichever the weather is: sunny, rainy, frosty) because the panel
containing them is made of a composite long-lasting, highly-resistant
material, with an inner steel reinforcement. Installation is quicker,
construction and maintenance time and costs are lower and the designer
can create the space and environment without limitation.

Each panel of the Grintec® system is composed of a substructure
made of composite material with steel reinforcement and a top finish
in a material expecially suitable for outdoor applications, such as
the Porcelain Stoneware.
Specification.
Modular and discontinuous Grintec®: raised flooring for outdoor
areas, laying on plastic material supports of fixed or adjustable
height. The supports raise the floor from the slab, so that it can
be levelled and rainwater can flow naturally through the waterproof
surface layer. The system is composed of modular panels, 20 mm maximum
thick, made of composite material with inner steel reinforcement.
The walking surface consists of conventional tiles (a type of Porcelain
Stoneware depending on the Management Works choice) which are bonded
to the composite material, resulting in a monolithic panel.
Panels nominal size: 60 x 60 cm. Tiles nominal size: cm 30 x 30 (4
tiles each panel) or cm 60 x 60 (1 tile each panel). Frost resistance
according to EN Norm 202 (50 cycles 15°C/-15°C).
