ACCIAIO - PA

The Acciaio panel is screwed directly on the pedestal head, to guarantee a very high stability of the whole system, even without using stringers. Its size is 600x600 mm and it is composed by two steel sheets welded one to the other. The upper sheet has a thickness of 0.8 mm, the lower one 0.6 mm. The Acciaio Panel is made by a process that, keeping the thickness of the steel constant, gets in the lower side 64 hollows which work as a ribbing. Then a cement-base inert material is injected inside the panel by pressure and in a pre-determined quantity: this gives the system a better soundproofing power, improving its physical-mechanical characteristics.
The panel is then washed in a phosphate solution and after a acid bath, a protecting epoxy-coating is applied. There are two different structure types for the Acciaio Panel. Both of them without stringers and screwed to the panel.

Technical Specification: Modular panel 600x600 mm made out of epoxy coated steel, filled with cement-base inert material, with 64 hollows in the bottom side. Thickness 33 mm. This panel is fixed to the pedestals by screws at each of its four corners. Bare top finish, for the loose-laying materials according to the choice of the Project Manager.
